Why I'm pursuing financial independence

Starting this log to document my journey toward FI. The goal is simple: build enough passive income to cover my expenses, so work becomes optional.

I’m not trying to retire early and do nothing. I want the freedom to choose what I work on without worrying about paying bills.

Current status:

The plan is to invest consistently in index funds, keep expenses low, and increase income where possible. Nothing fancy.

Will update monthly with progress and lessons learned.
